I've been making brooches with layers cut from my chunky handmade felt, corduroy and embroidered linen. There will be more to come soon, in rich and autumnal colours.

My old cheap bowl that I got for my first year of university has a chip in the rim and now is mainly used for holding things other than food. For instance, the felt beads I'm making which will hopefully become lovely fun jewellery in time for Christmas (watch this space!) I'm really enjoying making these, its strangely theraputic sitting cross-legged on the floor with soapy hands, music playing and watching the felt form into shape. :-)
